Deck overview

This deck is a classic Mono-Green Stompy strategy focused on accelerating mana, deploying undercosted high-power creatures, and casting Ghalta, Primal Hunger for just two green mana. Early turns establish mana acceleration through dorks like Llanowar Elves and Birds of Paradise, followed by efficient stat monsters such as Steel Leaf Champion, Pugnacious Hammerskull, or Gigantosaurus. Reaching ten or more total power on board allows the deck to deploy its 12/12 trampling commander as early as Turn 4. Card draw engines like Garruk's Uprising, Elemental Bond, and Rishkar's Expertise leverage the massive power of these creatures to keep the hand full of threats. Once the board is established, the deck finishes opponents through overwhelming trample damage, augmented by power-doublers and overrun effects such as Unnatural Growth and Overwhelming Stampede. While vulnerable to mass removal, the deck rebuilds rapidly due to dense redundancy in high-power threats.
