Deck overview

This deck is a Gruul Midrange strategy led by Aerid Konstrari, leveraging mana dorks and early land ramp to accelerate out its commander on turn 3 or 4. Aerid provides early fixing and artifact token generation via Heartwood tokens, feeding both mana development and tall combat stats. The mid-to-late game transitions into deploying high-impact Dragon threats like Old Gnawbone, Ancient Copper Dragon, and Terror of the Peaks, creating enormous Treasure reserves and direct damage. The game is closed out around turns 6 to 7 using overwhelming combat swings empowered by Craterhoof Behemoth, Twinflame Tyrant, or Aerid's repeatable artifact-scaling firebreathing ability. While the deck boasts immense mana velocity and formidable board presence, it runs light on interaction and stack protection, making it vulnerable to well-timed sweepers or fast combo decks.
