This deck is a high-power Mardu aristocrats combo deck commanded by Celes, Rune Knight. Its central strategy exploits the interaction between Celes and creatures with persist, such as Putrid Goblin, Lesser Masticore, and Murderous Redcap. When a persist creature dies, it returns with a -1/-1 counter; Celes immediately triggers upon a creature entering from the graveyard, placing a +1/+1 counter on all creatures you control. These counters annihilate one another as a state-based action, resetting the persist creature indefinitely.
