Deck overview

This deck is an Izzet spellslinger and artifact burn deck commanded by Breeches, the Blastmaker. The strategy revolves around deploying low-cost artifact and creature token generators, such as Third Path Iconoclast, Malcolm, the Eyes, and Saheeli, Sublime Artificer, to establish consistent artifact fodder. By sequencing two spells each turn, Breeches, the Blastmaker sacrifices these tokens to either copy high-impact spells or deal direct damage through coin flips. The mana engine scales into the mid-game via Treasure producers like Storm-Kiln Artist and Brass's Bounty, supported by coin-flip enablers like Krark's Thumb and Tavern Scoundrel. The deck closes games around Turn 8 by amplifying direct damage with Fiery Emancipation, casting large X-burn spells like Crackle with Power and Banefire, or executing wide combat swings with Craterclaw Colossus.
