Deck overview

This deck is a classic Temur Dragon tribal strategy helmed by Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm. Its game plan revolves around accelerating mana during the opening turns via efficient artifacts and land ramp, deploying Miirym on Turn 4 or 5, and immediately leveraging its ability to duplicate every subsequent nontoken Dragon. Doubled Dragons trigger overwhelming board presence, explosive card draw through effects like Elemental Bond and Temur Ascendancy, and massive burn damage via Dragon Tempest. Combat finishers such as Atarka, World Render and Scourge of the Throne rapidly close out the game by granting double strike and additional combat phases. While highly resilient against single-target spot removal thanks to Miirym's ward {2} and strong standalone backup threats like Lathliss, Dragon Queen, the deck remains vulnerable to untargeted board wipes and lacks cheap countermagic to defend its high-mana investments.
