Anowon v3 by whobens

Format: Commander

Commander: Anowon, the Ruin Thief

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Anowon, the Ruin Thief commands a proactive Dimir typal tempo deck that wins through relentless evasive combat and cumulative mill value. The strategy begins by deploying cheap, unblockable Rogues like Slither Blade, Changeling Outcast, and Triton Shorestalker. Anowon buffs these threats while converting combat damage into library mill and consistent card advantage whenever opponents mill creature cards. You sustain momentum through additional draw engines like Kindred Discovery and Reconnaissance Mission alongside Treasure production from Grim Hireling. The deck finishes games by overwhelming all three opponents with massive typal pumps like Coat of Arms, Stinkdrinker Bandit, and Door of Destinies, cleared by asymmetrical removal like Kindred Dominance.
