Lathril Elves by user7644672

Format: Commander

Commander: Lathril, Blade of the Elves

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a classic Golgari Elfball deck built around Lathril, Blade of the Elves. The plan is to develop an early mana base of Elf druids, cast Lathril on or ahead of curve, attack with her menace trigger to snowball 1/1 Elf tokens, then either close the game by repeatedly activating her "tap ten Elves" drain ability or by turning a wide elf board sideways behind anthems and pump spells. The deck is dense with redundant Elf lords, token generators, and mana-sink value pieces such as Cryptolith Rite, Enduring Vitality, and Seedborn Muse. There are no infinite combos; instead, the deck wins through overwhelming creature count, repeated drain activations, and big one-shot effects like Genesis Wave and Beastmaster Ascension.
