Deck overview

This deck is a Golgari token swarm and aristocrats strategy led by Chatterfang, Squirrel General. The primary game plan revolves around deploying Chatterfang early to passively double all token creation into 1/1 green Squirrels. By leveraging versatile token engines that produce Treasure, Food, and creature tokens, the deck rapidly establishes wide board states. It translates this board advantage into victory either through lethal combat overruns (Beastmaster Ascension, Craterhoof Behemoth, End-Raze Forerunners) or aristocrat life-drain triggers (Zulaport Cutthroat, Bastion of Remembrance, Nadier's Nightblade). Chatterfang also acts as a commander-centric removal engine, turning expendable Squirrels into targeted removal that controls opposing creature boards. While the list includes an infinite token loop in Earthcraft and Squirrel Nest, its lack of tutoring means it primarily plays as a synergistic go-wide combat deck vulnerable to mass sweepers.
