Deck overview

This Simic build is an "X matters" +1/+1 counter value deck built around Zimone, Infinite Analyst. The engine is simple: cast an X-cost spell each turn - a hydra, an X-draw spell, or an X-counterspell - and Zimone grows by two counters, making every subsequent X spell cheaper. Counter multipliers like Hardened Scales, Kami of Whispered Hopes, Ozolith, the Shattered Spire, and Benevolent Hydra amplify that growth, while Unbound Flourishing doubles and copies the biggest X spells. The deck wins primarily through combat: gigantic trampling hydras, Tanazir Quandrix converting the entire team into one giant's stats, Primo, the Unbounded/Deekah, Fractal Theorist Fractal armies, and an instant-speed Biomass Mutation to crack in for lethal. A control shell of X-counterspells and flexible removal (Curse of the Swine, Beast Within, Steelbane Hydra) keeps the path clear. There are no infinite combos; this is a fair, snowballing midrange deck seeking an overwhelming counter-laden board.
