Harvey's Captain N'Ghathrod by Scrivs

Format: Commander

Commander: Captain N'ghathrod

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Captain N'ghathrod leads a Dimir mill-and-theft deck that fills opponent graveyards with Horror combat triggers, landfall crabs, and high-volume mill spells, then recurs the best stolen cards. The primary finish is a compact two-card combo: Bruvac the Grandiloquent plus a kicked Maddening Cacophony, which mills a fresh 99-card library with a single spell. Bloodchief Ascension with Mindcrank is a slower backup that wins through life loss once charged. The commander adds menace, combat mill, and end-step reanimation, making Horror attacks a steady secondary engine. The deck is mid-speed and tutor-assisted rather than turbo; it needs one of its few tutors or natural draws to find the finishing pieces.
