Deck overview

Ishai, Ojutai Dragonspeaker and Jeska, Thrice Reborn form the main combat engine. Opponents casting spells grow Ishai, while Jeska triples the damage of a selected attacker. Equipment such as Blackblade Reforged, Colossus Hammer, and Commander's Plate turns that scaling creature into a lethal threat. The deck supplements this plan with Stoneforge Mystic, Enlightened Tutor, Rhystic Study, Mystic Remora, and a broad counterspell package. Its strongest alternate finish is Aurelia, the Warleader with Helm of the Host, which creates an infinite-combat loop when both pieces are assembled and Helm is equipped. That line is powerful but expensive and not consistently accessible. In ordinary games, the commander plan becomes operational around turn 7, presents its first reliable lethal attack around turn 8, and usually needs two more attacks to eliminate the table. The deck is resilient against many noncreature spells but remains vulnerable to creature removal, sweepers, Equipment disruption, and slow access to its damage pieces.
