Deck overview

Isshin, Two Heavens as One commands an aggressive Mardu combat deck that weaponizes triggered abilities whenever creatures attack. By doubling every attack trigger, the deck rapidly multiplies token generation, team-wide stat buffs, and direct life drain. The primary game plan curves low-cost attackers and mana rocks into Isshin, following up with prolific token creators like Hero of Bladehold and Anim Pakal, Thousandth Moon. The deck secures victory by converting large combat steps into lethal, table-wide life loss using group slug triggers like Hellrider, Commissar Severina Raine, and Mishra, Claimed by Gix, or by punching through blockers with Akroma's Will and Iroas, God of Victory.
