Commander: Cosmic Spider-Man

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Cosmic Spider-Man is a combat-anthem commander: once the deck reaches WUBRG, his trigger makes every other Spider a hasty, evasive, first-strike, lifelink attacker. The primary plan is to go wide with Spiders, keep drawing through Kindred Discovery and combat triggers, then finish with one huge double-strike/extra-combat turn. Secondary paths are value grinding through Gwenom, remorseless card filtering and the Defense of the Heart / Bloodline Bidding reanimation swing. Web of Life and Destiny gives the engine an extra creature each combat. The hidden carry is Miles Morales // Ultimate Spider-Man, since his Ultimate face doubles counters on every attack and turns a boarded battlefield into a snowballing threat.
