Deck overview

This deck is a high-power Grixis Spellslinger and Storm deck commanded by Kess, Dissident Mage. The primary game plan leverages mana acceleration and cost reducers to assemble a compact graveyard win condition centered on Underworld Breach, Lion's Eye Diamond, and Brain Freeze. Once Breach resolves, the deck repeatedly casts Brain Freeze and LED from the graveyard, self-milling to generate arbitrary mana and storm before milling out all three opponents in a single turn. Kess provides immense mid-game resilience and card advantage by replaying key spells, cantrips, and interaction directly from the graveyard. Backed by efficient counterspells, flexible bounce engines like Hullbreaker Horror, and board sweepers like Toxic Deluge, the deck transitions seamlessly between a reactive control shell and an explosive combo finish.
