Deck overview

The deck uses Captain America, First Avenger as an Equipment-centered combat engine. Tutors such as Stoneforge Mystic, Fighter Class, Open the Armory, and Steelshaper's Gift find the needed Equipment, while Sigarda's Aid, Hammer of Nazahn, Forge Anew, Puresteel Paladin, and Leonin Shikari improve attachment efficiency. Buster Sword, Sram, Senior Edificer, and The Mighty Thor, Jane Foster provide card flow, while Excalibur, Sword of Eden and Mjölnir, Hammer of Thor provide high damage ceilings. The deck has strong protection and respectable interaction, but its ordinary plan is slower than a competitive combo deck. Captain America's throw ability requires an Equipment to be unattached and costs {3}; the Equipment then needs another attachment effect. Combat, expensive artifacts, and reliance on tutors create substantial exposure. The deck can build a threatening board around turns 7–8, but it has no deterministic table kill or total lockout.
