Deck overview

This deck is a Rakdos Forced Combat and Aikido strategy built around Kardur, Doomscourge. Rather than assembling a large creature army to swing out, the deck weaponizes opponents' creatures against each other. By deploying Kardur and sustaining its enters-the-battlefield trigger via flicker artifacts like Conjurer's Closet or recursion spells like Feldon of the Third Path, the deck systematically forces all opposing creatures to attack players other than you. Damage multipliers such as Death Kiss and The Sound of Drums accelerate the life loss of opponents, while aristocrat drain pieces like Syr Konrad, the Grim and Blood Artist punish the inevitable creature casualties that result from mandatory combat. In the late game, after opponents have significantly battered one another, the deck closes the game through asymmetric finishers like Insurrection, a pumped Alexios, Deimos of Kosmos, or sustained death-trigger attrition, pivoting to clean up the surviving player.
