Deck overview

Sauron, the Dark Lord commands a Grixis midrange deck focusing on the amass mechanic, Ring-tempt card cycling, and aristocrat drain. Early turns establish mana rocks and incremental token generators. Once Sauron resolves, opponent spells continuously inflate your Orc Army. When your Army connects in combat, the Ring tempts you, allowing you to cycle your hand into four fresh cards. The deck converts this overwhelming card flow and board presence into victory through unblockable combat strikes, Relentless Assault extra combats, The Great Goblin burn triggers, or explosive life drain from Gray Merchant of Asphodel and Sheoldred, the Apocalypse.
