Deck overview

This deck is a Jeskai Superfriends control strategy commanded by Commodore Guff. It focuses on curving out mana artifacts into high-loyalty planeswalkers while hiding behind defensive blockers and attack taxes such as Fog Bank, Wall of Denial, Silent Arbiter, and Norn's Annex. Once multiple planeswalkers are established on the battlefield, the deck leverages loyalty engines like Oath of Teferi, Ichormoon Gauntlet, and Deepglow Skate to rapidly reach powerful ultimates. Asymmetric sweepers like Urza's Ruinous Blast and Blasphemous Act clear opposing creatures while preserving planeswalker parity. The win condition centers on mass dragon air strikes from Sarkhan the Masterless, stacking uncounterable burn emblems from Chandra, Awakened Inferno, and repeated direct damage and card draw from Commodore Guff's -3 ability. While vulnerable to early wide attacks and missing counterspells, its compounding loyalty value overpowers traditional creature-based strategies.
