Commander: Yuriko, the Tiger's Shadow

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a tuned Yuriko, the Tiger's Shadow tempo-control deck that leverages the commander's unique ninjutsu ability to generate massive card advantage and life loss. The primary game plan is to deploy cheap evasive creatures (changelings, flyers, unblockable bodies) as early as turn 1, then ninjutsu Yuriko and other ninjas in for combat damage triggers. Each trigger reveals a high-mana-value card like Draco (MV 16) or Shadow of Mortality (MV 13), dealing devastating damage to all opponents while refilling your hand. The deck is packed with interaction, free spells, and card selection to control the stack and protect its board. Secondary win conditions include Fallen Shinobi stealing opponents' cards and Temporal Trespass (extra turn) to accelerate the kill. The deck is highly consistent thanks to a dense redundancy of evasive enablers and a suite of tutors.
