Deck overview

Zoraline, Cosmos Caller is the deck's central engine. The commander attacks or enters, pays {W}{B} and 2 life, and returns a small nonland permanent from the graveyard. The best targets are Bat and lifegain creatures such as Sanguine Evangelist, Lifecreed Duo, Starscape Cleric, or Amalia Benavides Aguirre. Those creatures generate life, tokens, card flow, or incremental loss through cards such as Marauding Blight-Priest, Regal Bloodlord, and Lunar Convocation. The deck has reasonable creature removal and several sweepers, but its mana is mostly on curve and its protection is limited. Amalia Benavides Aguirre is a strong payoff when repeated life gain reaches exactly 20 power, yet the list does not reliably produce that many triggers quickly. The result is a flavorful, resilient casual-to-mid-power engine deck that can build a threatening flying board, but lacks a compact deterministic finish or total lockout.
