Deck overview

This deck is a Jeskai go-wide combat deck led by Aragorn, King of Gondor. The primary strategy focuses on assembling an army of Human and Soldier tokens, casting Aragorn to claim the monarch, and leveraging his attack trigger to make your entire attacking force unblockable. Supported by efficient 2-CMC mana rocks, the deck curves smoothly into early token generators like Adeline, Resplendent Cathar and Horn of Gondor before deploying Aragorn on Turn 4. On Turn 5, Aragorn initiates unblockable combat pressure that compounds with team-wide anthems like Shared Animosity, Warleader's Call, and Akroma's Will. Robust protection spells including Flawless Maneuver, Clever Concealment, and Grand Abolisher safeguard your wide board from opposing board wipes. While vulnerable to early monarch theft or targeted removal before declare blockers, the deck presents an inevitable, evasive clock that closes out games in two response cycles.
