Deck overview

This five-color spellslinger deck leverages Codie, Ravenous Codex alongside the prepare mechanic to copy high-impact spells cast directly from creature halves. By blending ramp, cost-reduction, and magecraft triggers from powerhouses like Archmage Emeritus and Veyran, Voice of Duality, the deck quickly accrues cards and mana. Its primary path to victory involves assembling a critical mass of storm copies via Thousand-Year Storm or doubling mana production with Mana Reflection and Timeless Lotus, culminating in a lethal, duplicated Stensian Sanguinist // Exsanguinate that drains all opponents in a single burst. While resilient and explosive once its engine pieces stick, the deck relies heavily on permanent-based enablers and requires careful timing to protect its core pieces from opposing interaction.
