Deck overview

This is a Rakdos Treasure midrange deck helmed by Smaug, Wicked Worm. The plan is to flood the board with Treasure tokens, cast the commander to convert those Treasures into card advantage, and close through alternate-win enchantments, artifact-count payoffs, and sacrifice drains. Smaug, Wicked Worm is the primary engine: his ETB mints Treasures off opponents' artifacts, and every subsequent spell paid with Treasure mana draws a card. The 99 backs this with Treasure doublers (Xorn, Academy Manufactor), combat minting (Goldspan Dragon, Grim Hireling, Professional Face-Breaker), and finishers like Revel in Riches, Hellkite Tyrant, and Knuckles the Echidna. Drain pieces (Mirkwood Bats, Mayhem Devil, Disciple of the Vault) turn token churn into table-wide life loss. The deck wins by snowballing artifacts into either an alternate-win check or a lethal drain/combat turn rather than a single fragile infinite.
