Pillow Fort by Cpalmer35

Format: Commander

Commander: Oloro, Ageless Ascetic

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Oloro, Ageless Ascetic is an Esper life-gain control deck that treats the commander as a free, unkillable engine in the command zone. The primary plan is to extract two life per turn, pump that life into a two-card infinite drain loop (Exquisite Blood + Sanguine Bond, or any analogous pairing), and win during an upkeep. Secondary lines include an Aetherflux Reservoir burst after Beacon of Immortality doubles life, an Archangel of Thune/Heliod/Walking Ballista infinite, and a grind of Serra Ascendant, Ajani, and token producers. The deck is slow and land-light but highly redundant, with nearly every life-gain payoff overlapping a second one, so losing one combo piece rarely ends the game.
