Deck overview

This deck is a high-power Simic beatdown and combo strategy commanded by Primo, the Unbounded. It combines explosive early mana acceleration with potent +1/+1 counter multipliers such as Hardened Scales, Ozolith, the Shattered Spire, and Doubling Season. The primary game plan accelerates into a large Primo on Turn 4. Because Primo has a printed base power of 0, dealing combat damage triggers its ability to generate an identical-sized Fractal token each combat, exponentially doubling your attacking presence every turn. To ensure its combat threats connect, the list leverages evasive trample enablers, protective equipment, and asymmetric board clears like Wave Goodbye. In addition to fair combat damage, the deck incorporates compact infinite mana loops featuring untap Auras like Freed from the Real paired with mana dorks such as Incubation Druid and Bloom Tender, which funnel into Walking Ballista or a lethal Finale of Devastation to close out stalled games.
