Deck overview

This Azorius control deck converts life gain into library mill using Hope Estheim. The strategy deploys low-cost soul sister creatures such as Lunarch Veteran and Daxos, Blessed by the Sun to establish steady incremental lifegain and chip mill during early turns. As the game develops, lifegain doublers like Rhox Faithmender, Boon Reflection, and Alhammarret's Archive dramatically amplify both your life total and the commander's end-step triggers. The primary win condition arrives through massive burst lifegain spells, particularly Beacon of Immortality or Congregate, which generate 40 to 80+ life in a single turn to mill out all three opponents simultaneously. A robust interaction suite of efficient spot removal, countermagic, and pillowfort enchantments protects your life total and board state while setting up the decisive mill turn. Additionally, the deck features an infinite draw-and-growth loop between Drogskol Reaver and Shabraz, the Skyshark as an alternate powerhouse engine.
