Deck overview

This is a fast, life-as-a-resource mono-black combo deck built around K'rrik, Son of Yawgmoth. The core plan is to deploy K'rrik ahead of curve with rituals and fast mana, then use his ability to turn black pips into life payments while storming toward one of several compact wins. The primary kill lines are Bolas's Citadel + Sensei's Divining Top + Aetherflux Reservoir, and the infinite drain of Professor Onyx + Chain of Smog. A robust graveyard package - Buried Alive, Necrotic Ooze, Skirge Familiar, Asmodeus the Archfiend, and a dense reanimation suite - provides a parallel, K'rrik-independent combo channel. Necropotence and Peer into the Abyss supply enormous card volume, while Gray Merchant of Asphodel plus recursive reanimation serves as a devotion-based backup win.
