2 -- (Ed deck upgrade) Court of Thorns and Whispers 👑🧚🌹

Format: Commander

Commander: Alela, Artful Provocateur

Bracket: 3

DeckCheck Threat Index: 42

Deck overview

This Esper deck leverages Alela, Artful Provocateur to convert every artifact and enchantment spell into evasive 2/1 Faerie tokens. Dense 2-mana ramp ensures early commander deployment on Turn 3. Once Alela is established, casting low-cost utility enchantments, anthems, and mana rocks generates a wide flying army. The deck sustains its velocity through coastal piracy draw effects such as Bident of Thassa and Kindred Discovery, which draw multiple cards each combat. Anthems like Favorable Winds and Glen Elendra Liege turn tokens into substantial aerial threats, while finishers like Akroma's Will and Mirror Entity burst through opposing defenses. A well-rounded suite of cheap spot removal and counterspells handles opposing threats, while Clever Concealment shields the board from mass removal. The deck wins by applying relentless evasive combat pressure backed by overwhelming card advantage.
