Deck overview

This deck is a Rakdos combat-manipulation and theft-aristocrats build piloted by Karazikar, the Eye Tyrant. Its central game plan focuses on deploying early ramp to cast Karazikar on curve, using goad triggers to deflect incoming attacks while incentivizing opponents to eliminate one another. As opponents whittle down their life totals, Karazikar restocks your hand with fresh resources on every opponent-versus-opponent combat. The mid-to-late game capitalizes on this attrition through temporary theft spells like Act of Treason and Besmirch, turning opponents' best creatures against them and converting them into direct damage via sacrifice outlets like Fling and Rite of Consumption. The deck closes out games around Turn 8 or 9 using mass-insurrection effects like Mob Rule or one-sided sweepers like In Garruk's Wake. While highly resilient against creature-heavy battlefields, the strategy remains vulnerable to board wipes, combo decks, and non-creature win conditions.
