Deck overview

This Bant deck combines snow permanents and landfall synergies to create a resilient, card-rich midrange engine. Led by Isu the Abominable, the deck uses a heavy suite of 1-2 CMC ramp spells to deploy its commander on Turn 4, turning the top of the library into an extended hand of snow lands and spells. Simultaneously, redundant landfall engines like Scute Swarm, Rampaging Baloths, and Felidar Retreat convert every land drop into wide boards of tokens or growing +1/+1 counter threats. Alternate win conditions like Marit Lage's Slumber and Dark Depths provide flying, indestructible 20/20 beaters. The deck establishes a critical must-answer board state on Turn 6 and closes the game through multi-opponent combat by Turn 8. While it features efficient spot removal and board protection, the deck remains vulnerable to repeated sweepers and noncreature combo strategies.
