Deck overview

This deck is a Dimir flash-control and Faerie tempo build commanded by Alela, Cunning Conqueror. The strategy focuses on operating entirely at instant speed during opponents' turns. By casting cheap interaction, cantrips, and flash creatures, the deck continuously triggers Alela to build a wide swarm of 1/1 flying Faerie Rogue tokens. When these evasive creatures deal combat damage, they goad opposing threats, forcing opponents to attack one another and clear potential blockers while protecting your life total. Card draw engines like Bident of Thassa, Kindred Discovery, and Nymris, Oona's Trickster keep your hand stocked with free countermagic and removal. The deck closes games through scaling aerial combat, tribal buffs from Scion of Oona and Tegwyll, Duke of Splendor, asymmetric wipes with Cyclonic Rift, or an explosive extra-turn assault via Notorious Throng.
