pingy boi by chollaway

Format: Commander

Commander: Ob Nixilis, Captive Kingpin

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Ob Nixilis, Captive Kingpin turns repeated 1-point life loss into +1/+1 counters and exiled cards that can be played immediately. The primary plan is to deploy Ob early, stack pingers (Firebrand Archer, Kessig Flamebreather, Thermo-Alchemist), and cast spells from exile, using each trigger to grow Ob and generate card advantage. The table is then eliminated with All Will Be One, which creates an infinite damage loop off Ob's counters. Secondary paths include Grapeshot storm and a Jeska's Will + Reiterate infinite-mana loop. Prosper, Tome-Bound effectively acts as a hidden commander, producing Treasure from the exile casting the deck encourages. A fast ritual/tutor package lets the deck attempt turn-4/5 kills.
