The Black Plague by Aaronzilla

Format: Commander

Commander: Rat King, Pale Piper

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This is a black attrition deck built around sacrificing creatures for value and grinding advantage through token generation. Rat King, Pale Piper turns every nontoken creature death into a Rat token and leverages the tokens as a draw engine, while Ashcoat of the Shadow Swarm buffs the Rat army and recurs them. The primary plan is to outlast opponents with removal, card advantage, and recursive threats, then win with a wide Rat board, drain effects, or a combo loop involving Ogre Slumlord and Pitiless Plunderer.
