Kinnan (But worse)

Format: Commander

Commander: Kinnan, Bonder Prodigy

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Simic big-mana engine deck built entirely around Kinnan, Bonder Prodigy exploiting both halves of his text box. His first ability doubles the output of every mana dork and mana rock - a single Llanowar Elves produces two green, an Elvish Archdruid produces five or six - and his second is a repeatable, command-zone tutor that puts any non-Human creature from the top five directly into play. The primary plan is to convert that doubled mana into a huge Genesis Wave, a chained run of Kinnan activations, or a hardcast Craterhoof Behemoth and finish with a trampling alpha strike. A secondary compact combo exists in Basalt Monolith, which with Kinnan generates infinite colorless mana payable into Genesis Wave, Increasing Confusion, or repeated Kinnan digs. Top-deck manipulation (Oracle of Mul Daya, Augur of Autumn, Abundance) and flashback mass-recovery spells round out a deck that wants to out-muscle the table.
