Deck overview

This deck is an optimized competitive Golgari combo list designed to establish rapid table-ending wins or grind through high-efficiency attrition. Led by Chatterfang, Squirrel General, the deck functions both as a token-fueled board-control engine and as a launchpad for compact infinite combos. Its primary win condition pairs Witherbloom Apprentice with Chain of Smog to drain all opponents in a single turn. Backing this plan is a robust reanimation package featuring Hoarding Broodlord and Saw in Half, alongside secondary loops like Chatterfang, Squirrel General with Pitiless Plunderer or Earthcraft with Squirrel Nest. Powered by format-ceiling fast mana and more than a dozen efficient tutors, the deck consistently threatens critical onset on Turn 2 to 3. Disruptive staples like Chains of Mephistopheles, Orcish Bowmasters, and Dauthi Voidwalker punish opposing card draw and graveyard strategies while the deck assembles its protected win.
