Deck overview

This deck is a mono-blue artifact token swarm strategy led by Sai, Master Thopterist. The primary game plan revolves around deploying Sai on Turn 3, followed by a dense curve of inexpensive artifact permanents, cantrips, and utility creatures. Each artifact cast triggers Sai to generate 1/1 flying Thopter tokens, building an evasive aerial army while providing fodder for Sai's card-draw ability. As the board develops, the deck transitions into a combat clock using artifact-scaling threats such as Master of Etherium, Sharding Sphinx, and Workshop Elders. Interaction is provided through a mix of tempo-based bounce spells, tuck effects, and selective countermagic. While the deck possesses consistent internal synergy and solid engine recovery, its lack of fast acceleration, tutoring, and hard protection leaves it vulnerable to mass removal.
