Deck overview

This deck is a five-color control and polymorph strategy helmed by Jace, Multiverse Architect. The primary plan leverages noncreature token generators such as Bitterblossom, Skrelv's Hive, and creature lands to provide cheap sacrifice fodder. By activating Jace's -3 ability or casting sorceries like Polymorph, Transmogrify, and Mass Polymorph, the deck cheats devastating high-mana creatures directly onto the battlefield. These include stax and protection powerhouses such as Jin-Gitaxias, Progress Tyrant, Avacyn, Angel of Hope, Serra's Emissary, and Hullbreaker Horror. While powerful, the creature pool is diluted by utility hits like Sanctum Lurker and Spark Double, meaning single spins are not completely guaranteed to produce the optimal lock piece. Once deployed, the board state suppresses opposing disruption and turns sideways, finishing the table through large evasive combat damage supported by counterspells and efficient removal.
