Ghyrson ping by BokitBoss92

Format: Commander

Commander: Ghyrson Starn, Kelermorph

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a spell-slinging burn-control deck helmed by Ghyrson Starn, Kelermorph, built around the commander's ability to amplify any source that deals exactly 1 damage into 3 damage. The deck deploys a dense suite of pinger effects - Firebrand Archer, Electrostatic Field, Kessig Flamebreather, Coruscation Mage, Thunderdrum Soloist, Exalted Flamer of Tzeentch, Vivi Ornitier, Manabarbs, and Caltrops - so that every instant and sorcery cast, every land tapped, and every attack chips opponents for 3 apiece. The primary win condition is incremental burn accelerated by wheels and cantrips, with a compact Underworld Breach + Grapeshot storm combo as the explosive finisher. A low curve (2.00 average) and a deep one-mana cantrip suite keep the engine humming, while free interaction like Fierce Guardianship and Deflecting Swat protects the commander. Secondary lines include Chandra's Incinerator as a board-clearing payoff and Urabrask // The Great Work's saga granting flashback.
