Commander: Jan Jansen, Chaos Crafter

Deck overview

This Mardu list is an artifact-token combo deck built to weaponize Jan Jansen's haste and tap abilities. The primary plan is to assemble Jan Jansen plus Clock of Omens, creating an arbitrarily large number of Treasures and Constructs, then convert those deaths and ETBs into damage through Mayhem Devil, Mirkwood Bats, Marionette effects, or Goblin Bombardment. Secondary paths use Magda, Brazen Outlaw, Kuldotha Forgemaster, and Oswald Fiddlebender to find an artifact finish, most notably Mycosynth Lattice plus Hellkite Tyrant's twenty-artifact upkeep win. Tutors and recursion keep the line dense. Jan is the sole commander; Magda is the closest hidden commander, functioning as a second tutor engine.
