Magnus and the Boys by Snuffalo

Format: Commander

Commander: Magnus the Red

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Magnus the Red leads an explosive Izzet spellslinger deck that converts wide creature token boards into overwhelming mana discounts for instants and sorceries. The primary plan establishes early token producers like Young Pyromancer and Third Path Iconoclast to ramp out Magnus and reduce spell costs to single colored pips. From there, the deck chains massive card draw and storm spells, resolving game-ending buyback combos with Reiterate, Searing Touch, or Haze of Rage. Alternative paths include storming into lethal burn through Guttersnipe, infinite combat steps with Breath of Fury, or generating boundless tokens with Ovika, Enigma Goliath to overwhelm the table.
