Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive Jeskai tempo and combat strategy commanded by Sonic the Hedgehog. It leverages creatures with flash and haste to attack immediately, grow through +1/+1 counters, and generate Treasure tokens whenever they take damage. Early turns focus on establishing mana rocks and deploying low-cost flash or haste creatures like Faerie Mastermind, Loyal Apprentice, and Captain Lannery Storm. On Turn 4, Sonic enters with haste and attacks right away, triggering 'Gotta Go Fast' to scale the board. Turn 5 escalates the pressure with evasion enablers like Herald of Secret Streams, combat multipliers like Windcrag Siege and Aurelia, the Warleader, or asymmetric sweepers like Damning Verdict. Synergies with Caltrops and Pyrohemia trigger Sonic's damage ability while keeping opposing creature swarms in check. The deck closes games around Turn 7 through unblockable or flying combat damage, backed by robust protection spells like Boros Charm and Guardian of Faith.
