Deck overview

This deck is an Esper midrange reanimator deck built around Sefris of the Hidden Ways and dungeon mechanics. It uses self-discard, sacrifice outlets, and looting creatures like Vohar, Vodalian Desecrator and Rona, Herald of Invasion to reliably put creature cards into the graveyard once per turn. Advancing through dungeons like Lost Mine of Phandelver triggers Sefris's Create Undead ability to cheat massive threats—such as Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite, Grave Titan, and Ancient Brass Dragon—directly onto the battlefield. Interaction suites like Force of Will, Mana Drain, and proactive protective creatures like Boromir, Warden of the Tower and Linvala, Shield of Sea Gate ensure its engine can safely deploy and sustain pressure across the board.
