Deck overview

This deck is a Simic Big Mana strategy commanded by Omo, Queen of Vesuva. Omo places everything counters on lands and creatures, turning lands into every land type simultaneously. This allows lands like Cloudpost, Planar Nexus, Urza lands, and Gates to scale their mana production dramatically with minimal setup. Supported by a robust suite of cheap land tutors like Crop Rotation, Elvish Reclaimer, and Expedition Map, the deck accelerates ahead of normal resource curves to cast massive landfall payoffs including Avenger of Zendikar, Scute Swarm, and Cultivator Colossus. Alternatively, it can copy Dark Depths with Thespian's Stage to deploy an early Marit Lage token or execute an infinite mana loop using Deadeye Navigator and Peregrine Drake. The deck relies primarily on combat damage across two turns to close games, leaving it susceptible to sweepers but exceptionally resilient against single-target permanent removal due to its land-based core.
