Deck overview

This mono-blue control deck uses Teferi, Mage of Zhalfir to dictate the pace of the game before executing an asymmetric hard lock or infinite mana combo. Teferi's static ability forces opponents to cast spells only at sorcery speed while granting flash to your own creature cards. This timing restriction allows the deck to flash in Teferi safely on an opponent's end step, untap on Turn 6, and resolve Knowledge Pool to lock opponents out of casting spells from hand entirely. Backed by a dense suite of countermagic, mass bounce spells like Cyclonic Rift, and massive card advantage engines like Consecrated Sphinx and Recurring Insight, the deck controls the board with ease. Secondary win conditions include an infinite mana combo using Palinchron with mana doublers like Extraplanar Lens or Caged Sun, which fuels a table-wide mill via Brain Freeze or infinite bounce with Capsize.
