Deck overview

This deck is an intricate Golgari Lands and Aristocrats engine commanded by Baba Lysaga, Night Witch. The strategy revolves around satisfying Baba Lysaga's unique sacrifice requirement—sacrificing up to three permanents sharing three or more card types (such as artifact creatures, enchantment creatures, or artifact tokens alongside lands)—to repeatedly generate massive card advantage, life gain, and symmetrical life drain. Dense low-cost acceleration and multi-type permanents enable a reliable Turn 4 assembly. Once operational, the deck transitions on Turn 5 into an overwhelming value engine using landfall payoffs like Titania, Protector of Argoth and Scute Swarm, untap loops via Thornbite Staff, and aristocrats drain engines with Marionette Apprentice and Chatterfang, Squirrel General. Opponents are rapidly pressured through escalating board presence, recurring Strip Mine land denial, and lethal life drain from The Meathook Massacre, Torment of Hailfire, or wide combat damage closing the game by Turn 7.
