Deck overview

This Dimir Zombie tribal deck is led by Gisa and Geralf, focusing on graveyard value, tribal synergies, and resilient token swarms. The early game establishes colored mana and self-mill through efficient rocks, Mire Triton, and Pilfered Plans. Midgame turns revolve around resolving Gisa and Geralf to gain virtual card advantage by casting a Zombie creature from the graveyard each turn. The deck controls opposing boards through repeatable Fleshbag Marauder sacrifices and targeted removal. As the game develops, high-impact spells such as Army of the Damned, kicked Josu Vess, Lich Knight, Grave Titan, and Zombie Apocalypse flood the battlefield with Zombie tokens. Multiple lords like Death Baron, Diregraf Captain, and Gisa, the Hellraiser grant lethal combat buffs and evasion, while Gray Merchant of Asphodel and Vengeful Dead provide direct life drain to close out games across turns 8 and 9.
