Commander: Astonishing Spider-Man

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Astonishing Spider-Man commands an explosive Izzet discard-and-draw strategy that converts massive card churn into direct table-wide damage. The deck uses the commander attack trigger alongside burst wheel spells to trigger discard payoffs like Glint-Horn Buccaneer, Brallin, Skyshark Rider, and Magmakin Artillerist. It scales this noncombat damage through amplifiers such as Hawkeye, Young Avenger and Artist's Talent. In addition to mass burn, the deck threatens compact infinite win lines through Niv-Mizzet, Parun enchanted with Curiosity and infinite combat steps via Rionya, Fire Dancer copying Combat Celebrant. Dense countermagic and cheap protection secure the board while you cycle rapidly toward a lethal finish.
