Deck overview

This deck is a five-color Saga-focused midrange strategy led by Terra, Magical Adept // Esper Terra. Early turns focus on mana development, color fixing, and casting low-cost enchantments. Once Terra enters on Turn 3, its enter-the-battlefield trigger digs five cards deep to ensure access to a high-impact Saga. On Turn 5, paying six mana activates Trance, transforming Terra into Esper Terra. As a Saga, Esper Terra's chapters duplicate nonlegendary enchantments and advance their lore counters by up to three stages immediately. This allows the deck to skip slow chapter progression and instantly extract final-chapter payoffs from heavy hitters like Summon: Knights of Round, Kiora Bests the Sea God, and The Kami War // O-Kagachi Made Manifest. Secondary engines like Tom Bombadil, Yenna, Redtooth Regent, and Starfield of Nyx provide redundant ways to copy, recur, and animate enchantments, eventually overwhelming opponents with massive token armies and life-drain triggers.
