Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Rakdos treasure-matters deck helmed by Smaug, Wicked Worm, focused on generating an overwhelming number of Treasure tokens, then converting them into card draw, mana, and drain-based inevitability. The commander's ETB creates a burst of Treasures equal to opponents' artifact count, and his second ability turns every Treasure-fueled spell into a cantrip. The deck piles on token generators like Xorn, Goldspan Dragon, and Magda, Brazen Outlaw, then deploys payoffs such as Ingenious Artillerist, Mayhem Devil, and Mirkwood Bats to bleed the table. Alternate win conditions include Revel in Riches (10 Treasures at upkeep), Hellkite Tyrant (20 artifacts), and Knuckles the Echidna (30 artifacts). The plan is incremental: outvalue opponents with raw Treasure volume, then close via repeated drain triggers.
