Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity Mardu token aggro strategy commanded by Tsagan, Raider Warlord. It combines aggressive low-mana token generators with first strike and double strike synergies to trigger Tsagan's scaling team buff. Early turns focus on accelerating mana through artifacts and deploying persistent token producers like Adeline, Resplendent Cathar, Anim Pakal, Thousandth Moon, and Hanweir Garrison. Once Tsagan enters combat, its attack trigger grants +1/+0 to all attacking creatures for every creature you control with first strike or double strike. Reaching max speed via consistent life-loss triggers grants Tsagan deathtouch and your entire team first strike, turning small token swarms into overwhelming lethal attacks. The deck supports this aggressive push with robust turn protection from Grand Abolisher and Myrel, Shield of Argive, alongside one-sided finishers like Blade Historian and Akroma's Will. While vulnerable to instant-speed sweepers and targeted removal before combat, the deck recovers quickly through redundant token engines and burst card draw.
